Defending Religious Practice
We are witnessing a disturbing trend in religious freedom around the world. The freedom to practice our beliefs is being denied as secularists declare religious freedom extends only to cover belief.
The Wesley Center for Constitutional Studies affirms our freedom to enjoy the full right of conscience which includes both the freedom to believe as we choose, as well as the freedom to act on those beliefs, within the confines of constitutional law.
The central purpose of religion is to provide a framework of doctrines and values which are intended by God to help us shape and direct our lives. The freedom to practice these beliefs activates our sacred freedom of conscience. Without the freedom to act, mere belief is shallow and meaningless.
Stand with the Wesley Center as we work to unite the churches under our common cause of defending and preserving our sacred right of religious freedom.
